The Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center consistently receives positive feedback, primarily praised for its modern, spacious rooms, excellent location, and friendly staff. While some guests appreciate the upscale amenities and convenient access to downtown, recurring concerns involve potential noise levels and inconsistencies in service, particularly regarding room availability and front desk responsiveness. Security concerns have also been raised.
It's been a long time since I have been to hotel and was not let down. They all have nice lobby's when you walk in, but when you get to your room..... it's a let down. One of the cleanest, nicest, modern rooms I have ever been in. The bathroom was phonemal. Everything was like brand new. There seriously was not a smudge or a spec on the mirror or the all glass shower doors. I actually looked all over because I was so impressed. Haha. All of the desks, tables and sinks were solid stone. The beds had motion activated under-lit accent lighting. Large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. Plenty of outlets and USB jacks for your electronics. It had it all! Thank you Hyatt Regency for giving me hope again for higher standards in a hotel!
When I first entered the hotel room, I was amazed at what I saw. I'm used to staying in cheap hotels for work, but as this hotel was much more expensive at $300 for a two bed room, so I wasn't surprised by the initial perceived quality of the room. However, this hotel didn't live up to my expectations. The bathroom door had no lock; the refrigerator could store only about 4 small plastic water bottles; there were motion lights on the bottom of the beds that were so sensitive they would turn on by themselves in the middle of the night; there was no microwave; the plug in the sink was full of hair; and the internet was only 20mbps for free, with the option to pay an extra $5 per night to go up to a 60mbps. Most cheap hotels offer 100mbps for free. These are things what wouldn't bother me as much with cheap hotels, but this wasn't cheap at all. In fact, I've stayed at hotels for less than $100/night with better rooms. The hotel itself was very nice, with an unbeatable location only a minute's walk from the convention center. But the rooms leave much to be desired for the price I paid.
This hotel honestly surprised us — in the best way possible. Hyatt Regency Denver has everything you want for a perfect city stay: amazing location, modern rooms, super comfortable beds, and a beautiful, calm atmosphere even though you’re right in downtown. But the REAL highlight is the view. Watching the sunset over Denver with the mountains in the distance from the rooftop lounge is something special. It feels like a movie moment — warm lights, panoramic windows, city skyline slowly glowing at night. Absolutely unforgettable. Service was friendly and professional, everything felt smooth and easy from check-in to check-out. The hotel is clean, stylish, and very well maintained. ?? Perfect downtown location ?? Stunning rooftop views ?? Comfortable, modern rooms ?? Great vibe for vacation or weekend getaway This is one of those hotels where you walk in and instantly feel relaxed. We came as friends and left already saying we’d stay here again. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful Denver experience.
We had a pleasant three night stay at the Hyatt Regency. The service was nice and the room was clean. We enjoyed the lounge upstairs with a wonderful view and the snacks were good. The reason we took off one star was for the bathroom. It did not represent a four star hotel. A pocket door, cramped vanity and shower door on either side of the toilet just didn't do it for us. Thank you.
I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center. We were in town for our sales kick off at the convention center right across the street, and you honestly cannot beat the location. It made the whole trip easy and stress free. The rooms were clean, spacious, and felt genuinely luxurious. After long days of meetings it was a great place to unwind. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful which always makes a big difference during a work trip. One thing that really stood out was the gym. It is much larger than most hotel gyms and actually has a wide variety of equipment. There is also a pool which was a nice bonus and made it feel less like a typical business hotel. Great experience overall and I would absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Denver.
Ive stayed here multiple times to go down to concerts or broncos games. My most recent stay wasn't as good as the others. I booked a 2 bed room 2 weeks in advance and there was not one available upon check-in.So I had to take a king bed room and forced to share a bed. They were also supposed to bring an extra bed that they never did. But overall, I've had great experiences before. It's beautiful hotel and very , very clean. It's in a great location and I will definitely stay there again.
This place is great. Sophia at the front desk deserves 12/10 for her help and understanding. Gorgeous property, most of the staff were very friendly, valet services go over and above… even if you’ve self parked. Cannot say enough good things about this property and the people who run it - a uniquely friendly culture in the city. Only tip would be some fabric softener on those sheets! Those elevators can be a pain but access controls are what they are downtown for a reason. Thanks for an amazing stay!
I just got home from here after being at a conference for work and had to write a 5 star review. The renovated room felt like a high-end luxury hotel room. The room was absolutely spotless on top of being spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. The bathroom was very well kept and had a lot of thoughtful amenities (ex. lint mitt, vanity kit, spare toothbrush/toothpaste). The food options in the hotel are great and the entire place is just very well maintained. The staff are also super warm and professional. I absolutely loved my stay and was honestly sad to leave the comfort of my room. This will be my go to hotel for the next time I am in Denver!
Very nice, large hotel with beautifully modernized rooms. We appreciated the interior design, the cleanliness, the spacious and well-equipped gym and the convenient location for exploring downtown Denver. What we didn’t like, however, was the fact that the overall atmosphere in the hotel resembled more a youth hostel than a Hyatt Regency. During our stay a youth congress was hosted and some large family gatherings seemed to take place. This led to rowdiness in the corridors with shouting, running and door slamming, even at night, which negatively impacted our sleep. Also, the lobby was at times very crowded, noisy and had more of a refugee camp look, nothing we would expect in a hotel of this class. The biggest shock was witnessing people having literal picnics in the lobby while utilizing their own tortilla grills, cooking plates and other electric appliances (see attached pictures). This was not only a visual and olfactory nuisance but also a major fire hazard - totally unacceptable! How the Hyatt management can allow something like this to happen is completely beyond us. Due to this experience we had already decided to downgrade our rating of the property by one or two stars. However, the staff member at check-out, Roger F., single-handedly managed to ease our frustration and let us rate this place five stars. Not only did he ask about our satisfaction (which should be standard but happens only very rarely nowadays) and listened attentively to our complaint, he also personally followed up and made sure an acceptable solution was found. His professionalism and dedication reflects his longstanding experience in the industry, and we wish every hotel would have such shining stars in guest services as Roger. All in all, we would recommend this Hyatt Regency but urge the management to overthink their policies regarding events they choose to host and things they allow to happen in their lobby (and corridors).
I was impressed with the service that was provided during my business stay while attending a local conference. Zelva, Sophia, and Alexous (bar manager) were personable and helped me make my stay comfortable and easy. Would definitely recommend being a Hyatt member and also relying on great staff like them for any questions or accommodations.
